| [Position Overview] The Quality Inspector Installation Works (QIIW) is responsible for ensuring the quality of Wind Energy Converter (WEC) installations by thoroughly checking the work of installation teams, including DOS, tower assembly, WEC assembly, and grid connection activities. This responsibility extends from verifying goods received for each WEC component on the construction site, through to the finalisation of installation and grid connection works, in accordance with the general Inspection. Serving as the “quality eye” on the construction site, the QIIW acts as a valuable partner to the Project team. The role also ensures the correctness and completeness of all related documentation, including protocols and non-conformity records, to maintain compliance and support seamless project delivery. [Main responsibilities] O Responsible for the quality of the installation work on assigned projects (e.g., documentation, inspections, check of documentation, using installation manuals). O Active follow up during installation according to checklists and quality witness points and consults on further procedures if quality is not met. O Checks, if quality standards are met during witness points of Turbine Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) O Identifies installation quality deficiencies and proactively supports the client on implementing corrective measures. O Records all detected nonconformities about installation works. O Collects and reviews the installation documentation (protocols) defined in the ITP. O Supports the General Project Manager during the taking over phase from client to the Company service (commissioning) at “mechanical completion” in assessing punch list items and entering them into the SAP non-conformity system. O Identifies cause of quality defects as far as possible. O Monitors by random checks the incoming goods inspection done by the client. O Supports in quality reporting, in databases or project specific reporting. O Ensure full compliance at all times with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards and regulations. O Assistance with resource management on site O Assisting in organising project-internal transportation and materials management O Monitoring the correct handling of all operating equipment, vehicles, and tools O Involvement in special projects [Requirements] O Mechanical or electrical background. O Knowledge about wind turbine or heavy machinery will be beneficial. O 3 to 5 years’ experience on Quality assurance will be beneficial. O Experience on construction work will be beneficial. O Able to work at height. O Willing to be 70% of time on Business trip. O Both Korean and English fluency O Car Driving license O Well-structured and organised approach. O Independent and proactive mindset. O Assertive and confident in decision-making. O Conscientious and detail oriented. O Strong organisational and time-management skills. O Quality-conscious with a commitment to standards. O Diplomatic approach to resolving issues. |
